Ingredients

  • 1 oz Grand Brulot Espresso Cognac
  • 1.5 oz Bourbon (see intro for favorite brands)
  • ½ tsp Superfine sugar
  • 2 Dashes Angostura bitters
  • Fresh ice*

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.
  • Gradually stir with a mixing spoon to allow the sugar to dissolve into the liquid then strain into a rocks glass over ice.

Notes

* Make sure the ice you're serving with your cocktail is freshly made. Ice that's been sitting in the freezer too long will give the drink a freezer-burn flavor.
