Ingredient ginger
- 3/4 c butter
- 2 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c molasses
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 3 3/4 c flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Cream the butter, sugar, eggs, molasses and white vinegar.
Slowly add the remaining ingredients and mix until combine.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
If desired, roll each ball in granulated sugar.
Bake for exactly 11 minutes.
Cool slightly on a pan then move to a cooling rack.
