- 2 1/4 lbs ground meat of your choice
- 1 cup you favorite barbecue sauce more for serving (optional)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- sea salt & ground pepper to taste
- 8 hamburger buns or large english muffins toasted and buttered
Pre-heat grill.
In a large bowl, lightly mix the ground meat with the barbecue sauce.
Season with salt and pepper.
Using wet hands, divide the meat into 8 patties.
Arrange the hamburgers on the grill and cook to taste, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare. Transfer to the toasted buns and serve immediately.
