America’s National Parks can set the scene for incredible, romantic getaways. Offering some of the world’s most spectacular scenery, fresh air and peaceful quiet. But when you add food and wine into the mix, you really might have our perfect idea of a sweep him/her off their feet weekend. Yosemite National Park understands the importance of mixing a little sophistication with the getting back to nature vibe. That’s why we can’t wait for the annual Taste of Yosemite in January, 2018.

The Majestic Hotel at Yosemite in winterThe event takes place at the stunning Majestic Yosemite Hotel. (Packages and transportation are also available for guests to stay at Yosemite Valley Lodge.) Sessions run throughout the month. You can view the schedule on the National Park website. Session lengths vary each week, ranging from 2-4 days. So you’re sure to find one that fits your schedule. Taste of Yosemite brings some of America’s most prominent vintners and chefs to California’s iconic park. The 2018 lineup includes Cakebread Cellars, Cowgirl Creamery, Chefs Duskie Estes & John Stewart of Zazu restaurant in Sebastopol, California and David Bazirgan of Bambara in Massachusetts. Each package includes a meet the chefs reception and a 5 course tasting dinner. There are also dinner-only packages available for those who want to keep their days free for hiking, biking or perhaps some in-room romance.
