Romantic cocktails to turn any day into Valentine’s Day
It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day to celebrate your love with a romantic cocktail or two. We’re stoking the fire this week with a recipe from, funnily enough, one of our favorite non-alcoholic beverage producers. Here, DRY Sparkling shows us their devilishly delicious adult beverage side…and we like it!
What is DRY Sparkling?
If you don’t know DRY Sparkling, this drink will make a great introduction to this maker of unsweetened sparkling beverages. (We hesitate to call them “soda.”) The lineup of sophisticated flavors make a perfect non-alcoholic wine alternative and can even be paired with meals as you would bottles of fine wine.
They’re made by DRY Soda Company, an American brand with two soda lines. There’s Dry Sparkling, featured in this cocktail. And they also have a second line of Dry Zero Sugar drinks, made without artificial sweeteners or added color. Their focus is on creating soda alternatives with restrained, sophisticated flavors adults can enjoy in place of wine, beer or cocktails.
Of course, for those of us who like our drinks with a little kick, the company offers recipes for sinful things, like their Valentine’s Day drink, the Love Potion #214.
And this vodka cocktail recipe really puts you in the driver’s seat, because you get to choose your DRY Sparkling flavor. Blended with Lillet, Prosecco and a touch of your favorite vodka, any of the eight soda flavors will work.
We recommend choosing one of the flavors with aphrodisiac aromas like vanilla, ginger or lavender. But really, this is about making the romantic cocktail that works for you and your lover. Just be sure not to skimp on the dark chocolate rim!
