Mom made a dinner of odds and ends: stuffed squash blossoms, guacamole, bread and parmesan “cookies.”
Charlie wouldn’t touch the squash blossoms but he loved the “cookies.”

On a trip to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Charlie enjoyed something fabulous called Milk Sorbet. It’s made from organic milk and flecked with vanilla beans.
Sometimes Charlie just needs to contemplate for a while (like half an hour) before enjoying a good meal.
What Charlie didn’t eat for lunch at Superba Food + Bread:
In fact, he refused to eat anything at all.
But at dinner, he had no problem eating the “Everything” croissant we brought home from Superba. (It involved a healthy portion of cream cheese.):
It was a good day for new food. Mom made spinach gnudi.
Charlie ate a big portion–with a smile.
Today was one of those days in which it took Charlie over an hour to eat each meal. Ultimately, he ate well, it just took a lot of patience to get through the meals.
Mom made a lovely white bean sauce for macaroni for dinner thinking Charlie would assume it was cheese and dig in.
Charlie was not having it. He ate one noodle then requested a bowl of cottage cheese.
Mom had a migraine and not the vaguest idea what Charlie ate. You’ll have to ask Dad.
Charlie’s friend Quinn came over for hot dogs. They didn’t eat much…
…Until dessert was served. This is what a two year old looks like on chocolate. Be very afraid.
