When we learned that The Berkeley in London was preparing for a Pink Floyd-themed promotion, we started to contemplate the sensual overtones of the English rock band’s music. In fact, we discovered that a section of “Shine On” was used as background in a French, pornographic film. (Thank you, Google!)
The hotel’s promotion isn’t necessarily designed to help you get lucky… but that might be a pleasant side effect of indulging in this deliciously pop-cultural package.
As the exclusive partner of the Victoria & Albert Museum’s upcoming Pink Floyd exhibition, The Mortal Remains, The Berkeley’s guests will be able to snag tickets to the almost sold out exhibit. And in keeping with the theme, rooms will be outfitted with record players and a selection of Pink Floyd LP’s. (We think a little Pink Floyd on vinyl will up the chances of a night of serious seduction in one of the hotel’s perfectly appointed rooms.)
The promotion begins on May 13, 2017. And even if your not lucky enough to stay in the lap of luxury at The Berkeley, you can still take part in the promotion with cocktail specials named for some of the band’s most popular works available in the hotel’s sexy Blue Bar.
