Brand new to Le Creuset’s famed line of cast iron cookware (available in a fabulous array of colors, including Cupid red, Le Creuset’s signature orange, and a shade we like to call “Le Cordon” blue), this hot wok would put any skillet stir fry to shame. We could cook in this pot every day of the week, and not just stir fries. The wok comes with an instruction manual filled with recipes for wok-cooked stews, noodle dishes, braised meats, and deep-fried desserts. With its tightly fitting glass lid, the wok even works for steaming. Its flat bottom spreads heat more evenly than any other wok we’ve ever tried.
