Just released, Chaddsford's 2005 Spring Wine is a
light, white celebration of the vintage just passed.
Created with a flavor profile of spring flowers and
fruit salad in mind, the wine is a flirty first taste
of spring. I served my bottle with an Easter ham and,
of course, a few eggs. It provided a sexy, saucy,
very adult Easter taste. Any wonder we skipped the
egg dying and headed straight for key lime pie and
tequila after quaffing the Chaddsford wine?
(It's true: The Paas kit sits on my kitchen counter,
along with a collage of empty bottles - a sweetly
taunting reminder of aphrodisiac Holiday debauchery.)
