Apricot Blue


2 C crumbled blue cheese
1/2 C apricot jam
2 T Port
Heat all ingredients together until cheese is melted.


For Dipping:
apple and pear slices*
country white and wheat bread cubes.
*To prevent frut slices from turning brown, sprinkle cut surface with lemon juice.

Traditional Cheese


1/4 C dry white wine
2 shallots, chopped fine
1 package mixed, shredded cheese
1 c whole milk
1 t white pepper
Bring white wine and shallots to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the cup of milk and boil until it thickens before mixing in the cheese and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted and all ingredients are incorporated.


For Dipping:
salami cubes
pita bread*
zucchini
baby tomatoes
whole scallions
apple slices
*If you have a gluten allergy or are looking to reduce carbs, substitute corn or gluten-free tortillas for the pita.

Berry-licious


1 bag frozen berries (raspberry, blackberry or mixed berry)
3 T sugar
juice of 1/2 lemon
Puree berries before heating all ingredients, stiring to incorporate.


For Dipping:
peach and apricot slices
chocolate and white pound cake cubes
strawberries


Chocolate Lovin'


1 package Mazet chocolate fondue*
*Mazet can be ordered from Sur La Table
Follow package directions for preparation.


For Dipping:
strawberries
lady fingers
banana bread
croissants
long skewers of pineapple chunks


Caramel Nut
1/2 C butter
2 C brown sugar
1 C light corn syrup
2 T water
15 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 t vanilla
3 T mixed, chopped nuts
Melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar, corn syrup and water. Bring to a boil and then stir in condensed milk. Simmer, stiring constantly until the mixture thickens to the point where you can pull it away from the pan in thin strands. Stir in vanilla and nuts.


For Dipping:
green apple slices
mini marshmallows
chocolate pound cake cubes
bananas
rice cakes
