aphrodisiac glossary

the aphrodisiac history of tarragon

Aromatherapy acknowledges the aphrodisiac potential of herbs. But we tend to forget the many ways in which fresh herbs can add impact to cuisine.

The herb is excellent for digestion. It is also considered a “warming herb,” great for building up some body heat.

Although we tend to think of tarragon as a condiment in European cuisines, the herb actually originated in southeast Russia and Asia.
